What is LED?
LED is the abbreviation for light-emitting diode. Simply put, LED is a new silicone based conductor of light. This technology has been around for a decade now but with recent breakthroughs made by Amagine LED in development of this technology, it is now "The New Revolution in Lighting".
Where have LEDs been used?
LEDs were commonly used in aesthetic and specialty lighting applications such as architectural accents and traffic lights. What is Light Pollution?
Light Pollution is unwanted or wasted light. It is also known as Sky Glow and is the glow seen above cities and towns in the night sky. Light Pollution can and will be greatly reduced by Amagine LED's streetlight with the latest LED and flat lens technology.
What is RoHS?
RoHS is the abbreviation for Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive. This mandate restricts the use of hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical products. Amagine LED is fully RoHS compliant which means NO mercury or lead is used in its products.
